Animals in the Yard

It's lots of fun to see the wild animals when they come into the yard. We were able to capture of a few of these appearances with camera. Some just remain in the memory. Once perhaps about twelve deer came in our yard on a cold winters night to eat the old apples that had fallen from our trees. They were beautiful and mysterious. Even our dog just stood staring at them in a silent awe. One morning I woke up to find two mallard ducks swimming in our pool. Every summer we get to hear the lonely calls of a pair of doves that live with us on our hill. Rabbits, possums,squirrels, and multiple times of birds visit us each summer. Even the bugs make for an interesting variety of the wild visitors that share our hill.

This is psycho bird. For a few days, he came up to our window
several times and tapped on it for at least 20 minutes. We never figured
out what he wanted, but he was mad with determination.
